Sprite has evolved from an adult helmet-style hat that I produced a couple of years ago. 

The ear-flaps have grown so that the hat may be fastened by threading one end through a small hole in the other side.  Just being able to cut a hole in the felt without the need for any stitches is part of felt's magic for me.
