Whilst I cannot claim to be a milliner, felt does lend itself to hat-making.

I make a few very simple shapes of felt hat: Spiral, Billie and Big Beret.

All of these hats can be worn in the rain, keeping your head dry; they will slowly absorb the rain, but it will not damage or shrink the hat.  They should be left to dry out at room temperature.
