q. What payment methods do you accept?
a. For online orders I accept Paypal payments only. At shows and events I can take payment via debit or credit cards, or in cash.
q. How soon will I receive my order?
a. Most shop items listed are in stock and will be dispatched within 2-3 working days; some smaller items are listed in the colours that I often make them in, and the fibre/ fabrics I have. On rare occasions, listed items such as these may not be in stock – if this is the case and if I am unable to make and dispatch the item within 2-3 working days I will email you to advise an estimated dispatch date and confirm the order.
q. How much are your postage and packaging charges?
a. Standard post options are currently free!
Recorded delivery is recommended for larger items, and this option will be added to the online store shortly. Please contact me should you wish to place an order with recorded delivery and are unable to do so.
q. Will you deliver to...?
a. Yes; for international delivery charges please contact me to discuss your order.
q. What is your returns policy?
a. I hope you are happy with your order and will enjoy your handmade felt item, however you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt, and a refund for the purchase price will be made when the items are received back. Items must be returned at your expense, in the condition received; please use original packing and packing method. Items returned worn, soiled or damaged will not be refunded.
Please note: items made to order are not covered by your right to cancel – once I have started work on commissioned items, your cancellation rights will end. Items listed on the website that are out of stock and then made on request to fulfil an order (see q. 2), do not count as commissioned items and are covered by your right to cancel.
Should you have requested recorded or international delivery services, these charges are also non-refundable.
Should you wish to return, or exchange, part or all of an order, please contact me immediately; I must be informed in writing, and hope any issues can be resolved satisfactorily for all parties.
q. Will you make me <this> in <x> colour?
a. Possibly! I use a limited palette of colours taken from my landscape paintings, which changes season to season, and from one collection to the next; please contact me if you would like to discuss my current colour palette and have seen an item in my collection you would like made up differently.
I use a variety of fibres for different purposes, so please bear in mind that it may not be possible to make up the item you desire in the fibre you would like.

q. How do I care for my blurred edges handmade felt item?
a. Washing instructions appropriate to each garment, bag, booties or other item is sent with each piece, however:
Before soaking felt items, try removing soiling by brushing the surface lightly with a damp cloth; care should be taken to avoid grinding in stains, but light soiling can be very effectively removed from solid felt and many mixed felt items, particularly natural fleeces such as Jacob.
Solid felt and mixed felt/fabric items can be hand washed carefully using soft detergent or soap, in cool water, with as little agitation as possible.
Use of too much soap or detergent, combined with overly hot water, or stressing of the garment, can cause the fabric to felt further, which can cause slight shrinkage or distortion, so should be avoided so as not to alter the fit, drape, finish or size of items.
Rinse washed felt items well, reshape whilst damp, and dry flat away from direct heat.
Store felt items and garments as you would other delicate or heavy woollens; felt is a durable and hardwearing natural fabric, and if treated with care will last for many years.
